Hello, Adrianna here.

If I had to explain one thing about me is that pictures will explain my entire story… My name is Adrianna Gallegos and I was born in Denver, Colorado, although for the last 20 years of my life I have resided in Villanueva, NM. I was born and raised on a farm with my family. My mother has always made good decisions towards my future and at the same time juggled her personal and work life. She has always encouraged higher learning for me and has continuously supported me through College and will continue long after without any doubts. I have learned to be very independent and carried high self esteem towards my future.  My mother being in social work has taught me many things such as the power to help others. This is where I have been influenced the most. My mother has taught me that one person can make a big difference in many peoples lives. So I plan and will continue to plan how I can help the youth, which is why my major is Art therapy, slightly hard concept to grasp. Helping people through art. Many people have hobbies and responsibilities in which they take joy in. And well, my job will be to help and show those that they can make hobbies out of complete humility alone. Which will also encourage less depression throughout the country if all my convictions are followed through with a positive and continuous feeling of help for all. I am a hardworking student at NMSU and have always gone the extra mile to make a difference. I have been volunteering at the local soup kitchen for the homeless and I have been accepted to work in New Jersey as an art teacher for a Christian oriented summer program. I am only 22 years old and have made connections throughout the United States and plan to make art therapy a movement for all youth to follow. Which teaches good will towards others and responsibility beyond there personal goals. I will also be attending seminars in Los Angelos, California, I will be working under a famous artist by the name of  Retna, I plan to learn as much as possible so as to apply the skills learned towards the class in New Jersey. I have been working with youth since before I can remember, It all started with attending a youth oriented summer camp then after that I decided to work with 21st century which, is a tutoring program for the summer schools. I started this at the beginning of high school did that for a couple of years then took on the challenge of working with teaching youth tennis ages five years and up. Soon after that I started college and found that it would be really hard to juggle school and helping others to that same extent. My sophomore year I got the hang of the college life and became a peer advisor for the fine arts department. I was responsible for getting speakers and putting together programs for my peers and the 30 students I was responsible for caring counseling and advising.

My name is Adri and or Dree for those who are close to me. My Laptop is attached to my hip just like my Camera. I like fun and adventurist people. People who don’t let the small stuff bother them. I am always trying to go out and do new things I aim to be the kind of person who is always taking themselves out of their comfort zone. I love to make people laugh even if it means embarrassing myself sometimes…
I love art. I have always loved doing art. My website, it is a place i can really express myself. I have many artsy friends too! Who are all talented in their own ways. So, check out my blog role. I do believe that many people need to help each other and right now those who survive and are successful  because of the people they choose to have around them. I have been  very lucky with the friends and family that I have. Each person that I have ever met has effected my values and mostly for the better.  I hope to connect people with others that will learn to help each other out. Just as those have helped me reach my goals  and as I have tried to do for them.

I want to see a scientist that detests science, want to meet a lawyer (doctor) that cares for her clients, want to see anything - surprise me. I want to meet a painter that’s not pretentious, want to see a rock n’ roll band that is inventive. I want something, surprise me. I’ve become a pattern, saying things to say them, doing things to do them, and writing things to stay unchanged. I need to learn, I need to think; I need to reevaluate my stance on everything. -miracle of ‘86
